The Construction Financial Management Association (CFMA) is registered with the National Association of State Boards of Accountancy (NASBA) as a sponsor of continuing professional education on the National Registry of CPE Sponsors. State boards of accountancy have final authority on the acceptance of individual courses for CPE credit. Craig Calhoun, Chief Financial Officer, Frampton Construction - As chief financial officer, Craig Calhoun leads the strategic financial direction of the company. His financial leadership spans many sectors of the company, including accounting, risk management, human resources, project management, and investments.

A Certified Public Accountant (CPA) with more than ten years of construction finance experience, Craig holds a bachelor's degree in accounting from Wofford College and a master's degree in accountancy from Clemson University. He previously served as the President of the South Carolina Chapter of Construction Financial Management Association (CFMA) and is a member of the Urban Land Institute (ULI).

Mark Deverges, Senior Manager, FORVIS - Mark joined the Search practice unit in 2016, adding nationwide experience with C-suite recruiting to our construction and real estate practice. His background includes placing top executive, finance, operations, and project management talent with general contractors, developers/owners, EPC companies, and specialty contractors. He leads our advisory services and executive recruiting for construction and real estate companies from our Asheville location, working closely with team members in our other locations (as part of FORVIS, we can also draw on the industry knowledge and contacts of the firm’s construction and real estate practices).

Chaz Friendly, Chief Financial Officer, CF Evans - As CFO, Chaz is responsible for the financial oversight, reporting and budgeting of the Company.

Chaz received his Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and Master of Accountancy from the University of South Carolina. He is a member of the American Institute of Certied Public Accountants, South Carolina Association of Certied Public Accountants, and Construction Financial Management Association. He also serves on the Board of Directors for SOAR Columbia.

Prior to joining CF Evans, Chaz was a Senior Audit Manager with a regional public accounting firm where he provided a variety of assurance services to construction clients throughout the Southeast.

When not at work, he enjoys spending time with family and friends either on the back porch, golf course, or by the pool. He resides in Lexington, South Carolina with his wife, Jenna, and their daughter.
