Eric is an experienced indirect tax professional providing consulting services related to multistate sales & use tax, motor vehicle and excise taxes. Eric has assisted clients in a variety of industries including those in the oil & gas, petrochemical, construction, manufacturing, drilling & well services and retail. Eric has assisted clients with audit representation including managed audits, over payment reviews, return compliance, voluntary disclosure/amnesty agreements in addition to taxability matrices and nexus studies. Eric began his career with the Texas Comptroller of Public Accounts as an auditor for sales & use, hotel occupancy and others before transitioning over to consulting.

Matthew D. Snell, JD

Matt is an experienced tax professional that provides multistate indirect tax consulting services to private equity firms. Matt has counseled clients in a variety of industries including construction, manufacturing, federal defense contracting, and petrochemical production. Matt primarily assists clients with merger and acquisition due diligence, reverse audit, taxability matrices and nexus studies, and voluntary disclosure. Matt began his career in commercial real estate portfolio management and later worked for the largest indirect tax consultancy in North America before joining Crowe’s Texas SALT Practice.
